Frequently asked questions
Where are you based and how can I meet you and see your work in person?
I’m currently based in Spain. My studio hours are by appointment only, but if you’d like to schedule, email hello@marcelaragones.art prior to your visit to set up a date and time.
How long does it take for me to receive my artwork?
Each product is carefully packaged. Please allow up to 1-2 weeks for domestic orders and 2-4 weeks for international orders to arrive.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, I do. I ship worldwide.
How are shipping costs determined?
Shipping costs are determined based on the price, dimensions, and weight of the product(s) purchased, as well as the shipping destination. Shipping costs include packaging and handling. Please note that it may be subject to duties, taxes and/or fees according to your country’s regulations. Please consult your local customs office for more details about duties and taxes. How will my large artwork be shipped to me?
I work with qualified art framers. They handle my artwork with the utmost care and will package your painting safely. Large paintings are removed from the wooden bars and rolled in a tube. Any good framer can re-stretch the canvas for you, or if you are really handy, you could do it yourself.

Is there a way I can preview what a painting would look like in my space?
Yes! I know how important seeing a painting in your space is. Simply email hello@marcelaragones.art a picture of your blank wall and its measurements, if it’s possible. Be sure to capture it with bright and even lighting. We will then place the painting on your wall digitally and send it back for you to check out.
What type of materials do you use and how do you finish your paintings?
Most of my work is created using acrylic and water based media like inks, watercolors… I sometines include oil pastels, oil paints, and other mixed media as a part of my process. Canvas originals and some works on paper are varnished to protect the paintings from dust and light. For works on paper, framing behind a glass is best for protection and preservation. I always use best quality canvas.

Do you work with interior designers?
Yes, I’m happy to create custom paintings in any size to suit you and your client’s vision. For a consultation to discuss your requirements, please email me at hello@marcelaragones.art
What type of prints do you offer?
I offer giclée prints on on Hahnemülhe German Etching 310 gr. paper. Museum quality. I also offer posters full color printed on 170 gr. paper.
How do I care for my print?
Prints should be framed as soon as possible to avoid damage.
Do you accept returns?
All sales are final. Exceptions are made in case of any damage incurred during shipping. If this happens, please contact me within 7 days of receiving your artwork or product.
About image rights and licensing
I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork I create unless the Collector has purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork (this is in addition to purchasing the original).
The Collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission.
If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I only ask for credit.
When you purchase an original painting you, the collector, have the right to display the artwork in your space but the artwork may not be reproduced without my written permission.
Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to an artwork.
