Already as a child, Marcel already showed his talent and passion for art, and he never stopped brushing ever since. Throughout the years, Marcel developed various innovative techniques and bold materials mix, especially his iconic acrylic and ink on canvas and paper. Most of his works are elegant, delightful, cheering, and always with a touch of good humour. They convey his philosophy of positive living.
According to the artist, “Art should nourish and brighten our spaces and lives. I do not want art to be something sad, dull or depressive. This is why my paintings mostly present energetic and passionate color-play as the central elements. I see my paintings as delightful melodies.”

As an abstract painter, my art is a vibrant celebration of happiness, beauty, and the joy of life. Every brushstroke, every line, and every shape in my works is infused with positive energy that seeks to illuminate the viewer’s soul and fill their hearts with delight.
My works are an explosion of bright and bold colors that evoke feelings of euphoria and serenity. Through the combination of warm and cool tones, I strive to create a harmonious balance that reflects the intrinsic beauty of the world around us. The use of organic forms and free strokes is an extension of my personality and my intuitive approach to art, allowing each piece to have its own distinctive character and unique voice.
In my creative process, I let my intuition guide my hands, allowing the painting to develop naturally and spontaneously. Freedom in movement and fluidity in the application of color are fundamental to conveying a sense of unrestrained joy. I enjoy painting on both canvas and paper and mixing all kinds of materials and pigments.
